Day 01: Moscow
Arrival to Moscow. Complete the airport formalities and transfer to Hotel for check in with English-speaking guide.
Buffet dinner at hotel. Overnight at hotel 3 star (D)

Day 02: Moscow

After Breakfast leave for a fun filled Moscow Sightseeing Tour (view the wonders of Moscow - Red Square, St. Basil Cathedral, the Gum Department Store, the Bolshoi Theatre, Manezh Square, Moskva-River Embankment, and the Moscow State University on the Vorobyovy (Lenin’s Hills).

Later, pay a visit to Moscow Kremlin and Armoury Chamber.

The Kremlin is a historic fortified complex and is the working place for former highest authorities since Russia’s capital switched from St. Petersburg to Moscow. It includes four palaces, four cathedrals and the enclosing Kremlin Wall with Kremlin towers.  It is now a residence of the Russian President.

Armoury Chamber is a part of the Grand Kremlin Palace’s complex and preserves ancient state regalia, ceremonial tsar’s vestments and coronation dress, vestments of the Russian Orthodox Church’s hierarchs, the largest collection of gold and silverware by Russian craftsmen, West European artistic silver, ceremonial weapons and arms, carriages, horse ceremonial harness.

In the evening, enjoy the world famous Moscow Circus (7pm-9.20pm)

Day 03: Vladimir

Early morning leave for Vladimir, the capital of ancient Russia. Here you will visit the Golden Gates, St. Demetrius Cathedral and Assumption Cathedrals which are part of the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The Golden Gates are the only (albeit partially) preserved instance of the ancient Russian city gates. A museum inside focuses on the history of the Mongol invasion of Russia in the 13th century.

The second half of the day takes you to Suzdal, a true open air museum. You can enjoy viewing the historic sights of the Monastery of Saint Euthymius, Suzdal Kremlin, and Pokrovsky Monastery.

On the way back to Moscow you will visit the Pokrov Na Nerli Church in Bogolubovo.

Day 04: Moscow

Today you will visit the summer resort estate of Russian Tsars and now a museum Kolomenskoye. It is situated several miles to the south-east of Moscow city-centre, on the ancient road leading to the town of Kolomna (hence the name). It was a home for Peter the Great during the early years.

Afterwards you will travel to the State Tretyakov Gallery. It is one of the best-known art galleries in Russia. The gallery reflects the whole history of Russian art, from 11th century to present day.

Day 05: Sergiev Posad

The day carries you to Sergiev Posad. It is home to The Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra which is among the most renowned of the Orthodox monasteries in Russia. This staggering cloister built across 15 and 19 centuries is featured in the UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

After some rest we proceed back to Moscow to visit the most mysterious place of the city - the Taganka Bunker which was built to ensure Russia’s State security in case of a nuclear attack. As the threat of a nuclear attack faded away, the bunker was no longer classified and now everyone can visit it.

Transfer to railway Station for overnight train to St.Petersburg (app at 22:00)

Day 06: St. Petersburg

On arriving in St. Petersburg early in the morning and meeting with English-speaking guide. Breakfast at local restaurant. The time is right for embarking on a fairly impressive Sightseeing Tour across Russia’s former capital city. View the Palace Square and Winter Palace, a former residence of Russia’s mighty monarchs. You can also see the Saint Isaac’s Cathedral, Kazan Cathedral, the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ and Aurora Cruiser (A Russian protected Cruiser ship, currently preserved as a museum in St. Petersburg)

Check-in at hotel aroung 13:00

Then the journey leads you to the Yuspov Palace – the residence of the wealthy and respected Yuspov family. It is a unique historical landmark of federal importance showcasing architectural trends from the 18th through 20th centuries.

Return to Hotel.

Day 07: St. Petersburg

After Breakfast visit Peter & Paul Fortress.

When Peter the Great re-claimed the lands along the Neva River in 1703, he decided to build a fort to protect the area from possible attack by the Swedish army and navy. That day became the birthday of the city of St Petersburg. In the middle of the fortress stands the impressive Peter and Paul Cathedral, the burial place of all the Russian Emperors and Empresses from Peter the Great to Alexander III.

The journey now moves on to the Hermitage, one of the world’s biggest art and cultural museums. This museum’s collection features - Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo, Titian, Rembrandt, Rubens and other world famous impressionists and post- impressionists.

Return to Hotel.

Day 08: St. Petersburg

Visit Petergof, the world famous palace and the oldest residence of Russia’s royal family Romanov.

Petergof is a stunning ensemble of parks, palaces and fountains celebrating a proud victory of Russia’s ever struggle to expand to the Baltic Sea.

Later, transfer to the airport and board the flight for Mumbai. Tour Concludes.
