Marco Polo Presnja Hotel is a small 4-star hotel located in the silence of the Patriarchy Ponds in the heart of Moscow, combines the European service of the high standard and Russian hospitality. There is an atmosphere of comfort and coziness that allows all our guests feel home away from home.
Built in 1904 by the well-known English architect William Wallcott, the walls of the hotel keep the memory of famous people who were staying here. Since, many of those persons have become successful.
For many years the entrance to the hotel was closed to the public. It was always «the house for the elite». Before the revolution the building served for London's governesses and then for professors staff of Moscow State university who stayed and worked here. After the war, this building became a stiff hotel with the prestigious restaurant for the Soviet Government members and obviously, the doors of this building were closed for the rest. And just at the beginning of 90's an Austrian firm turned this house into one of the finest hotels in Moscow which, in fact, became quite a different hotel in terms of equipment and services.
Today the hotel is called «Marco Polo Presnja» and proud to be rated a 4 star hotel with new stylish furniture, refined interiors, the most up-to-date fire-fighting equipment and reliable security system. The personnel trained to the high standards perfectly knows our guests' tastes, habits and expectations and will make every day of your stay at Marco Polo Presnja Hotel a memorable experience.
