KIZHI VACATION - BREATH OF TRANQUILITY

Petrozavodsk + Kizhi Island
2 days/1 night

Day 1:

• Arrival in Petrozavodsk. Transfer from the railway station to the restaurant. Breakfast.
• City tour "The City of Peter the Great". You will get acquainted with the history of the capital of Karelia and see its places of interest. Photo stop near the monument to Peter the Great.
• Transfer to Kizhi Island by hydrofoil (1 hour 15 minutes).
• Transfer to the guesthouse "Kizhskaya Blagodat" by boat (10 minutes). Accommodation in twin rooms with private bathroom.
• Lunch.
• Boat excursion to the ancient chapels around Kizhi Island that form the famous "Kizhi Necklace".
• Free time. Dinner.

Day 2:

• Breakfast.
• Transfer to Kizhi Island by boat (10 minutes). Excursion in the Kizhi Open-Air Museum of Wooden Architecture. Visit of the functioning church of the Kizhi Architectural Ensemble and ethnographic village of the museum.
• Free time to visit the villages of the northern part of the island where local population lives all year around.
• Transfer to Petrozavodsk by hydrofoil (1 hour 15 minutes).
• Dinner at a local café. Free time.
• Transfer to the railway station.
